Community Support Connections has a fleet of vehicles which agency drivers use to provide transportation services assisting individuals to and from medical appointments and the grocery store, adult day programs, and shopping trips.Volunteers who drive their own vehicles also support the program.

Door to door transportation service for medical appointments.

Assists individuals under the age of 60 to get to their medical appointments on time. Currently not running due to COVID-19.

Kiwanis Transit is a specialized transportation service for individuals who fall within the eligibility.

Provides local public accessible transportation solutions for both persons with disabilities and seniors age 65 or older
* eligible users must register for service prior to use
* door to door service within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Halton Hills
* trips may be booked for any purpose and as early as 7 days in advance
* bookings must be completed 24 hours prior to travel to ensure a scheduled pickup time
* support person or caregiver may accompany free of charge
* low income users may be eligible for subsidies through Halton Region SPLIT program

The Rural Shopping Bus is a program for rural residents who do not drive or have access to public transportation. Clients must be able to board the bus independently and carry their groceries.

The bus runs bi-weekly and takes participants to the Walmart Shopping Plaza in Waterdown.

The Rural Shopping Bus is a chartered DARTS bus and runs throughout the year.

Due to COVID-19 this program has been temporarily suspended.

The Rural Community Grocery Bus provides bi-weekly transportation to shopping centers for seniors who do not drive. The shopping locations are: Food Basics Plaza in Ancaster and Walmart Plaza in Waterdown.
Operates in collaboration with Glanbrook Community Services and is funded by the Hamilton Community Foundation

A non-emergency, door-to-door transportation service. Our volunteer drivers accompany clients to and from medical appointments and grocery shopping.

Provides non-medical personal support services to individuals with physical disabilities and frail seniors residing at Palmer Place, a nonprofit apartment building for seniors (for Palmer Place listing see here)

Services include assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing and toileting, range of motion exercises, and light housekeeping support

Others services may include:

• meal preparation
• medication reminders
• errands and appointments (fee for service)

Due to Covid-19, this program is suspended until further notice. Please see website for furtner details.

Provides round-trip transportation for a bi-weekly grocery shopping outing on a Friday. DARTS Transit picks up clients at their door/entrance and transports them to Fortinos, Walmart, Longo's, or the Farmer's Market in Ancaster. Also provides transportation to local outings and events such as fairs, live theatre, musical venues, and community events in the Ancaster and surrounding area.
