Operates a 79-bed acute care facility/hospital for the town of Espanola and surrounding area
Services and programs include:

• Newly renovated 24-hour Emergency department

• Diagnostic Imaging (x-ray and diagnostic imaging)
• Dietary services
• Laboratory
• Long-term care
• Physiotherapy

Also provides the following:

• Espanola Nursing Home
• Family Health Team
• Queensway Place assisted living complex (19 units)
• Seniors Apartment Building (30 units)

On-site services include:

• Community Care Access Centre (CCAC)

99 bed capacity hospital with 24 hour emergency care services, as well as inpatient and outpatient services

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:

• Cardiac rehabilitation
• Diagnostic Imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, mammography, Ontario Breast Screening Program)
• ECG and Respiratory Therapy
• Laboratory
• Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology)

Outpatient Services:

• Ambulatory services (hosts regular clinics such as cardiology, urology, nephrology, pediatric, gynecology, sleep labs, psychiatric clinics)

Crisis Intervention

• Provides in-person crisis intervention
• Offers assessment, crisis counselling, advocacy, and referrals to community agencies

• Provides a 24-hour Emergency Department
• Offers a Spiritual Room for patients and visitors to participate in smudging and meditation

• Provides an array of services including acute care, general rehabilitation, specialized mental health services, and cancer radiation therapy
• Serves as the district referral centre providing specialist services for smaller communities in the area

• Provides first aid, CPR and AED training to the public

Babysitter/Home Alone Course

• Courses designed for children to deal with emergencies when home alone or babysitting

• Offers timely access to primary health care services through a staff of a Registered Nurse and 2 visiting Nurse Practitioners
• Provides access to other health care professionals within and outside of the Nursing Station/Medical Clinic
• Coordinates documentation if patient receives care from a member of the team
• Focuses on health promotion
