• Offers a low cost, door-to-door transportation service for people with disabilities that prevent them from using the conventional transit system
• Provides specialized accessible buses that include low floors to replace steps, automated wheelchair ramps, fold up seats for mobility devices, auditory stop call-out and visual display screens, and priority seating

Services can be used for the following trip purposes:

• Work
• School
• Medical
• Other outings such as shopping, social, or church

Provides transportation services to individuals who are 55 years of age or older and/or who have a physical or mental disability

Responsible for the operation of public transit for the City

• Provides fully accessible buses
• Operates the Handilift Bus for individuals who are unable to use the regular bus
• Posts transit schedules and fares on website

Wheelchair accessible van, and volunteer drivers utilizing their own vehicles, provide transportation for seniors and persons with cognitive and/or physical disabilities, who are unable to drive themselves and have no access to transportation. Transportation to medical appointments is the first priority, however seniors are also able to complete errands such as grocery shopping, banking etc.

Community Support Services may be able to facilitate other special circumstances. These decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. Call main office for further information.

All transportation is coordinated through the main office.

Offers volunteer and private sector transportation for medical appointments, social activities and personal errands.

Will provide assistance as required by the client which may include:

• Confirmation calls to confirm appointment date, time and scheduling
• Escorted assistance to the appointment
• Check in at reception to confirm appointment time
• Assistance with shopping
• Transport of walkers and other mobility devices including wheelchairs
• A client travel companion is welcome (family, friend or caregiver)
• Other special services upon request

For medical appointments, will travel to Sudbury, North Bay, Barrie, Orillia, Toronto and other long distance locations.

All clients are required to schedule their trips in advance, two week advance notice preferred. No trip is guaranteed. Trips are booked on a first come, first served basis. A mileage compensation or trip fee applies to all transportation programs.

Provides non-emergency door-to-door accessible transportation within the town of Blind River for people who are unable to use the regular transportation options available due to their physical, developmental or medical needs

Company offers:

• 40 full size buses - seats 72 children or 48 adults, 1 -28 school bus - seats 45 with capacity for 2 wheelchair
• 3 transit buses with wheelchair capacity - 2 buses seat 10 with capacity for 1 wheelchair, 1 bus seats 14 with capacity for 2 wheelchairs
• 20 mini buses - seats 22 children or 16 adults
• Charter services
• Licensed Drive Clean facility providing emission testing for diesel trucks and buses
• Bus leases to camps

COVID-19 Response Due to concerns regarding COVID 19 only 6 riders will be permitted at any time.

Regular Service:
Provides public transit for Huntsville.

• Operates on a fixed-schedule.
• Wheelchair accessible bus with seating for 18 passengers, a wheelchair lift and space for one occupied wheelchair at a time.
• Specialized transit bus with seating for 14 people and space for a wheelchair.
• 24 hour advanced booking required for wheelchair trips.
• Some flexibility is available for pick-up and drop off points to accommodate service needs.

Wheelchair accessible buses are available to charter and to take individuals to appointments. Call for availability and bookings. 3 wheelchair buses, 12 wheelchair spaces, spaces for 30 ambulatory individuals. Lift for ambulatory individuals with wheelchairs or walker.

• vans can accommodate up to 3 wheelchairs or other mobility vehicles, such as scooters, and 3 walk-ons
