• Provides space for up to 7 men to stay overnight for a minimum of 14 days, during which their needs will be assessed in order to determine if they will need to be accommodated for a longer period
• Individuals residing at the shelter will be provided breakfast and dinner, as well as free life skills courses to help them be self sufficient and live a healthy, balanced life
• Programming includes mentorship, bible studies, assistance in finding a job and assistance in finding housing
• Zero tolerance for drug and alcohol abuse at the shelter
• Volunteer positions are available, and donations are accepted during working hours
• Donations toward Apartment Starter Kits are welcome; list of items needed can be found on the website

Provides a 12 hour nightly shelter for persons 16 years of age and older

Operates an emergency men's shelter

• Offers a six-bed two-storey home for displaced men and their children
• Includes a garage, two common rooms, a full kitchen and private backyard
• Provides access to the programs/services (such as advocacy and counselling) offered through the Women's Shelter

Salvation Army offers family services including:

• spiritual counselling
• ​addictions referrals

• emergency and disaster response
• religious services
• mobile unit (Friday Nights) to serve food and hot beverages to the public, offering a solace for many people, a common ground for talking, sharing and interacting

YMCA Rural Housing and Homelessness Outreach provides assistance to adults (in Bruce County) and youth (16+ in Grey or Bruce County) who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or dealing with other housing issues.

Services and support are provided in the location that is easiest for the client to access.

In situations of immediate need, emergency short-term shelter may be arranged. An action plan will be created and implemented to find, secure, and maintain longer-term housing.

Assistance with Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) applications, utility arrears, identification services, food security, referrals to employment, eviction prevention, and encampment support are also available.

• Variable length of stay
• Shelter is a dry facility, no alcohol or drugs (including marijuana) allowed on site
• Co-living environment, guests must ensure hostel is cleaned
• Guests provide their own food and may shop at Table Food Bank and Table Soup Kitchen
