COVID-19: Abides by provincial standards for Covid 19 capacity restrictions in all areas of the centre, including the gymnasium and rental hall. In order to visit the black historical museum, patrons must call ahead at 519-354-5248 to schedule an appointment. Masks mandatory in building at all times. Day camp programs are open Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm. Call centre to sign up.

The Heritage Centre, a significant black history museum run by TJ Brown is located within the WISH Centre which is geographically situated near the end of the underground railroad.

Childcare and day camp programs. Drop in program that provides recreational and educational opportunities. Full day PA Day, March Break and Summer Camps * Children must bring a lunch, snacks are provided.

A health, fitness and recreation centre for all ages including 2 pools, gymnasium, wellness centre, arcade room, community rooms, and indoor walking track. COVID-19: During the province wide lockdown essential services (footcare and diabetic footcare) are still being offered by appointment only. Take out meals have also resumed - call to reserve a meal. Catered events currently on hold due to pandemic.

A non-profit social and recreational centre for older adults.

Provides friendship and social activities for Portuguese Canadian families while helping them to integrate into the community. The Club also operates a banquet and catering facility primarily for weddings. The club is open to everyone.

COVID-19: The centre is closed and programming is on hold. Online fitness classes are being offered and the foot care program is still running on the 2nd Thu of the month. Call for more information and to sign up.

Offering young people (10-18) of the community a safe and welcoming environment to hang out and participate in a wide variety of activities. Operating under the 5 Pillars of Programming; Recreation & Leisure, Education & Employment, Arts & Culture, Civic Engagement and Life Skill Development & Leadership.

Offer weekly Euchre games, hand quilting, arts and crafts, computer classes, blood pressure clinic, and foot care. A pool table is also available.

A place for youth from Dresden and the surrounding areas to meet and socialize. Provide a safe environment where youth can be involved in programs to help deal with the challenges of everyday life.

SYC offers a variety of assets for the youth including:

Offer an after school homework program in addition to being open to youth through the week, being involved in the Community Clean-Up Day, Street Dance and Music In The Park, going on local trips and hosting special themed events. Each December Sidestreets hosts a Santa Claus Breakfast as a fundraiser for their organization.

COVID-19: As of September 22nd 2021, all persons entering the arena will be required to provide proof of vaccination. To be considered fully vaccinated, a person must have obtained their second shot 14 days prior to entry of the facilities. Masks and social distancing regulations remain applicable to everyone. Exceptions : Active skaters under 17 years of age.

This modern complex contains an arena, auditorium with banquet facilities for 500 and several meeting rooms * It is home to a Junior C hockey team as well as figure skaters and minor hockey.

A community hub that provides guidance and direction * facility offers public access to computers and programs, assistance with job hunts and government services * provides referrals and professional services at no cost
