Information food skills opportunities, community gardens, student nutrition programs, CK Food Strategy and more can be found here. Additionally the CK Meal Calendar and Food Resource can be found on this website as well as an up to date listing on all food banks, soup kitchens, food voucher programs and other community food resources.

Administers funding and provides program suppor to schoold to ensure students are well nourished and ready to learn.

Offers school aged children and youth free healthy food on days they attend school. The mission is to ensure that all children in Lambton County will have access to healthy food choices. Contact Lambton Public Health, Health Promotion Assistant for further information.

A YMCA Resource House providing free programs and services to families in geared to income neighbourhoods. Activities include the breakfast club, After School Healthy Habits, Nutrition Break.

PROVIDES:

Offers free hot lunch for elementary students and adults in the community * buses kids from their Ingersoll schools to the church and back for a hot lunch during school year * arranged through the school principal on a yearly basis

The Food & Friends Program brings healthy food to hungry minds. Breakfast, morning meal, snack and lunch programs offered throughout Dufferin, Wellington County and Guelph agencies and schools. The goal is to provide an atmosphere of social inclusion among students who may otherwise feel marginalized, aid in decreased disruptive behaviours in the classroom, learn healthy eating habits and built strong social skills.
