A registered charity, operated by a group of volunteers, with the sole purpose of caring for lost, mistreated and abandoned animals. Takes in lost, abandoned or stray animals, and gets them a medical wellness check-up, inoculations, microchip, deworming, and spayed or neutered. All the animals are boarded/fostered until a secure, loving home is found.

United for Literacy Guelph is now running virtual afterschool educational support programs for the winter 2021 semester. Inquire by e-mail if interested in becoming a virtual tutor.

Volunteer virtual tutors spend 1-2 hours each week reading with a child / youth, helping with homework or doing other literacy-related activities. Programs are organized and coordinated through a volunteer-led Organizational Team and supported by a United for Literacy staff person.

Volunteer Auxiliary providing services to the Milton District Hospital

• a registered charity with numerous fundraising initiatives
• funds raised are donated to the Milton District Hospital and used to purchase new equipment
• annual fundraisers include Strawberry Fair, rummage sale, Christmas luncheon, Gift Shop and gift wrapping at the mall
• services include wayfinding, assistance on patient units and in clinics, emergency department, sewing and repairs, flower arranging, gift shop, tea wagon for patients and visitors
