A drop-in and counselling program providing intervention, education, and prevention for marginalized youth and youth at risk. Programs include structured skill-building and casual drop-in. Programs are informed by a Christian faith perspective. A Youth Council discusses, organizes, and makes decisions about what happens at the centre.

Programs offered include: babysitting courses, workshops, peer tutoring, movie nights, board game nights, physical activities, LGBTQ2S+ socials.

Alternative educational school program that serves 8-10 high risk youth in grades 7 and 8 who have serious mental health/developmental and educational challenges.

The Upper Deck Youth Centre provides a safe place for students to be, with adults who care. Programs are designed to help youth see their full potential mentally, physically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. Staff also provide care within the community in a number of ways; mentoring, school involvement, community garden, community Christmas dinner.... Caring for youth and their future is what we do best!

Develops safe mentoring relationships with youth at risk and/or youth involved in crime by offering programs that develop hope, purpose, and skills to support personal success. Provides transportation, meals, and access to recreation opportunities.

Intensive one-on-one mentoring which provides youth with an opportunity to participate in structured activities and find support and camaraderie among their peers. Through this program homework help, school supplies, snacks, computer and printer access, and recreational activities are provided.

**On Hold During Covid-19 Pandemic** Youth Drop-Ins for grades 5-12. The Drop is held at Wilmot Rec Complex in the Youth Room on the 2nd floor. The Zone is held at the New Hamburg Arena (251 Jacob St., New Hamburg). These drop-ins are FREE of charge.

Central access point that assists youth to connect with community services and provides needed supports. Services include:

• referrals
• help to obtain ID
• life skills workshops
• access to outreach workers for food, clothes, affordable housing listings, employment, addictions support, life concerns
• access to mental health clinicians and nurse practitioner for medical care and treatment, assessments and diagnostic testing (pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections etc), mental health assessments, specialist referrals, birth control, pregnancy care or parenting support, and any health concerns
