• volunteers will call clients on a regular basis who are isolated to share in some pleasant conversation

Luncheon Out

• opportunity for adults with physical disabilities and the frail elderly to enjoy a hot nutritious meal
• entertainment and health promotion/wellness demonstrations
• luncheons are held at preset times
• transportation can be arranged

Telephone Reassurance

• telephone reassurance calls may last between 5-7 minutes for a friendly check-in and brief chat
• security calls are intended for check-ins on well-being and follow a different protocol than social calls

Snow clearing service

• driveway windrow clearing service begins after we have plowed all municipal streets and when there is more than 15 centimetres (around six inches) of snow
• should snowfall not meet the above conditions, the resident must clear the snow and sand or salt as needed
• includes semi-detached, link housing and row housing

Light housekeeping, assistance with laundry, change linens, meal preparation, care for Alzheimer's disease and escorts to appointments

Personal Care
Assistance with eating, grooming, dressing, and bathing

Home support service

Nursing - Medication administration, wound care, foot care, intravenous therapy, pain and symptom management, ventilator care, peritoneal care, chronic disease management, pediatric and palliative care, respite care.

Personal Care - Personal hygiene care such as grooming, washing, bathing and basic hand and foot care. Assistance with dressing and eating.

Home Support - Light housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry. Escort for shopping trips and appointments.

Companionship - Caregivers provide companionship for individuals who are alone or isolated. Caregivers can also accompany clients on outings and special events.

Occupational therapy, physiotherapy, virtual care

Screening clinics, N95 mask fittings, PPE consultations

Assistance in clearing City sidewalks and driveway windrows

• service after snowfall of more than 2.5 cm (1) to be completed by midnight the day after the snowfall ends
• windrows cleared if at least 20 cam (8) high
• service does not include clearing of walkways on private property or for clearing other parts of driveway
• windrow is the pile of snow at the bottom of the driveway that is left after a snowplow clears the street
