Behavioural Consulting Services assists persons over the age of two years who have a developmental disability

• focuses on the person's individual strengths and needs and utilizes the mediator model to teach new skills and work toward behaviour change
• Behavioural Consulting Services staff also provide short term consultations and/or training in behaviour support strategies to individuals or community agencies
• supports individuals in Hastings, Prince Edward, and Lennox and Addington counties
• family or individual consent is required if the family is not making the referral
• waiting time varies

An in-home family oriented program committed to offering assistance to families who have a child with a developmental disability

• integration and inclusion of all children through creative planning in the building of supports and relationships within the community

The Individual Residential Care Program is a residential support for children with an intellectual disability.

• Sometimes it is not possible for children and youth with developmental disabilites to live at home. A negotiated Individual Residential Care agreement is made with the natural family for the child to live in an associate home setting that is based on individual circumstances and the support required.
• Respite component available through this program

Through LifeShare, Ontario families and citizens (home providers) can offer a safe and nurturing environment for adults with developmental disabilities (home sharers).

Inclusion Northumberland supports people with developmental disabilities to fully participate in community life.

Respite Services provide unpaid caregivers of children and adults with planned breaks. This service gives caregivers time away from their regular responsibilities, a chance to re-energize and an opportunity to pursue their own interests.

• Respite guests may receive services in their own home, or in the community.
