Bundle up Barrie Winter Clothing Campaign

• provides donated coats to the homeless and other individuals and families who do not have a warm coat for the winter
• Annual Campaign takes place in October
• donated coats can be dropped off at the Community and Family Services office at the Salvation Army Bayside Mission Centre, 16 Bayfield St, Barrie
• coats are distributed from the Community and Family Services office in October and November

Baby's Closet

• provides emergency assistance to parents with young children
• items such as diapers, formula, baby food, baby wipes, clothing and household items are available

ID Clinic

• Assists low income individuals in obtaining an Ontario Birth Certificate by appointment only

Family Tracing Service

• Provides information for persons wishing to trace missing relatives
• the individual must send the form to Salvation Army Family Tracings Service in Toronto

Christian hockey league from Timbit to Juvenile divisions

• non-body contact league
• programs include house league hockey, power skating, select team program, summer hockey camp, grassroots referee development
• Timbits 4-6 yrs, Novice 7-8 yrs, Atom 9-10 yrs, Pee Wee 11-12 yrs, Bantam 13-14 yrs, Midget 15-16, Juvenile 17-20 yrs
• all Divisions are mixed, boys and girls
• take time for a prayer and a short devotional from the Bible prior to all Saturday games

PowerPlay Summer Hockey Camp designed to give hockey players the opportunity to develop skills and attitudes to impact their game

• camp includes 10 hours of on ice time, a variety of dry land training, time in the swimming pool, and daily devotionals

Regular Service
Peer-to-peer support programs in a safe home-like atmosphere for children, teens, young adults and their families grieving the death or life-threatening illness of a loved one, programs include:

• overdose-specific therapy sessions
• school program that includes classroom support, teacher support, and consultations
• community outreach opportunities include practicums for students requiring post secondary school placements to fulfill their academic curriculum requirements
• Camp Skein: A camp for children ages 7-16 yrs grieving the death of a parent or sibling, 5 Nights/6 Days

Presentations done by request include sorting through feelings, coping strategies, skills/resource development, and how to offer peer support

Holiday Sponsorship Program
An inclusive multicultural program designed to celebrate the traditions and meet the needs of individual families and young adults, who are under the supervision of Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions

• program matches sponsors' gifts of new toys, clothes, and grocery gift cards to create complete holiday celebrations for families across Simcoe County
• full and partial sponsorships are welcome (partial sponsorships will be matched with others to create a full sponsorship)

Summer camp program is a prevention program which provides children with one week of summer camp

Summer Youth Sailing School

• offers CanSail level 1 - 6
• camp runs for two weeks, with each day being a combination of on water and in classroom instruction as well as recreational activities
