Beginning September 6, 2022, 100% of counselling sessions to be actively offered in-person. Virtual/phone appointments still accepted based on client's needs. Groups and workshops will continue with a hybrid model, based on registration. Drop-In group will continue to be 100% in-person.
People visiting the space are currently required to wear a mask, and if not, to maintain social distancing. All staff are required to wear a mask when they are in common areas. All women entering the space will be asked to complete COVID-19 screening questions. Visitors to the space who are displaying two of any of the prominent COVID-19 symptoms will not be permitted.

An emergency shelter providing residential and non-residential supports to women and their children fleeing violence and/or experiencing homelessness.
The shelter provides services en francais to women whose first or preferred language is French.
Counselors provide crisis counselling both in person and via the telephone for women who have experienced intimate partner violence or sexual abuse 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Child residents receive counselling and support as well as age-appropriate activities through our Child Support Program.

The Sunrise Centre at Headwaters Healthcare Centre is a Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Centre with the Ontario Network of Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Treatment Centres. This centre provides resources, support and treatment for all victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Specially trained Forensic Nurse Examiners provide care in a private space, offering:

- assessment and treatment for injury, pregnancy, and sexual transmitted infections
- private interview room for individuals who choose to meet with police or provide a video statement to police
- Follow-up visits both virtually and in-person.

- collection of physical evidence that can be used at a later date if the individual chooses to pursue legal action.

Rural Response Program - offers short-term crisis support and short-term counselling and referrals for women in rural north Dufferin communities who have experienced abuse (past or present). In-office or mobile service
Child Witness Program - provides workshops and counselling for children who have witnessed woman abuse
Addiction & Outreach - services offers supportive addiction counselling for people who are dealing with unwanted opiate/substance use
Caring Dads - offers a 17-session weekly group program to help fathers develop coping skills and strategies to improve their relationships with their children. Screening interview to determine eligibility
