People are also assisted to prepare for the PATI, CFAT, college mature student exam, and other entrance and aptitude tests. Computer classes are also available.

The Centre is operated by the Simcoe County District School Board to provide adult learners with a full range of opportunities to develop new skills/certifications, to enhance current knowledge and to achieve personal goals related to further education and employment. Full-time and part-time programs are offered.

Adult students can fast-track their diploma by earning equivalent credits through PLAR and maturity credits. Recognition is given for prior learning and work-related experience.
