COVID Phone-In Counselling Clinic * quick access to 1-hour counselling session on topics such as dealing with COVID-19 related anxiety, feelings of sadness, personal issues and conflicts * parenting resources * not a crisis line

Independent regional advisory body led by local business and labour sectors and including representation from other stakeholders

• engages communities in a locally-driven process to identify and respond to key employment and training trends, opportunities and priorities to help improve conditions of the local labour market
• facilitates a local planning process and opportunities where community organizations and institutions agree to initiate and/or implement joint actions, activities and projects

For people living in social housing, including information and referrals for mental health services, addiction services, housing assistance (eviction prevention, tenant/landlord relationship), financial assistance, hoarding/clutter and housekeeping, legal aid, education and system navigation, and wellness promotion

Employment Support Program
For individuals with mental health issues who are unemployed or under-employed, includes employment services and workshops

Family Caregiver Education Program

Support for Depression
For people experiencing or who have experienced mental illness, including peer support groups, mutual support and coping skills develop, trained peer volunteer facilitators, safe, non-judgmental environment (no registration required)

Support and referral services for low-income/marginalized residents of Aurora including:

Bridging the Gap -- monthly access to toiletries, grocery food vouchers; every two months access to vouchers for free clothing

Income tax preparation -- offering income tax return preparation

Community Garden -- harvest distributed to visitors to Welcoming Arms
