We are an information, referral and assistance organization, and registered charity.

We help individuals, families and communities identify, understand and effectively use the programs that are part of the human service delivery system.

We are involved in numerous partnerships and community development activities. Some of these are:

We are one of six integrated provincial call centres for 211 Ontario, and a member of the national network 211 Canada. 211 is a national, 24/7 bilingual helpline, that complements 911.

We partner with primary care, community care, and paramedics, to support people impacted by social determinants of health.

We are the community lead for Built for Zero Simcoe County, part of a national change effort to end chronic homelessness in hundreds of communities across Canada.

We are the administrative and reporting lead in Simcoe County for Reaching Home, the federal homelessness strategy, establishing a coordinated access system to achieve zero homelessness in Simcoe County by 2024.

We are the sponsoring agency for Out of the Cold, a community mobilization effort to create Collingwood’s first homeless shelter.

We are embarking on a 4-year, collective impact project to connect seniors to volunteer or social activities across Simcoe County. This project builds upon a volunteer centre collaborative and our health care relationships to prescribe social activities.
